Yes, and I used the second patch. I'm also adding some security checks
now because some parameters (wheel_delta, lin_interval and jog_interval)
should better not become 0. Haven't committed the changes yet, though.

Because the function is called "readDoubleEntry"? ;)

No need to submit another patch, though. I'll change that when I add the
settings class.
