Okay, some of you will probably love this. If you're cutting material from a channel that switches aspect ratios at commercial breaks (e.g. ARD, ZDF or RTL), go to the "edit" menu and select "suggest markers". Dvbcut will then populate the event list with bookmarks that (approximately) indicate possible cut points.
