We've talked about having one meta-account and having people have many
journals under that.  We haven't actually written up a plan on how to
implement it, so that's not happening this second.  I don't know if
this is something in scope for beta/launch, but it'd certainly be
interesting to discuss.

Anyway, for now you will need an invite code for each journal you want
to make.  We are going to give all existing users invite codes
regularly though, which should mediate any pain from having to wait a
bit.  (Alternately as mentioned by D if you really want to create an
account faster, the easiest way is with a $3-for-1-month-of-paid-time,
but I understand how that option isn't amazingly appealing.)

The beginning of the site is going to be a bit bumpy as we figure out
the right mix of keeping codes accessible so people can use the site
and keeping them low volume enough so we can effectively grow without
running into scalability issues on the virtual servers, etc.
