Er, it's useful for communities to know, in terms of "this person
is legal in their home country and therefore their parents will
not sic the relevant law enforcement agencies on us if they
decide to check up on what Precious Darling's been doing online."

Am I wrong or isn't it the parents who have the power to make
trouble?
