I made four direct mailings to V51AS, all complete with IRCs and green
stamps. About three years later I received QSLs via the Buro for 8 of 9
QSOs. I'm guessing he gets ripped off at the post office and thus is forced
to return QSLs via the Buro. I suppose the volume of mail (and $$$) he gets
is well known to the post office, making him a good target. The German mail
drop should be a better route than direct mailing. In my experience V51AS
does QSL if you can get a card to him.
