All:
Two earthquakes happened at 7:08AM HST (1708 GMT, 1:08 PM EDT) and
the second happened 6-mins later. It was
a 6.6 and the second was a 5.+ with 6-minws later. According to USGS there
were 21+ aftershocks, not all felt in
HNL. The Big Island folks suffered much damage. If you have a friend or
fellow Ham on the Big Island of Hawai'i you might
check with them.
I'm in Kane'ohe on Oahu and damage was minimal here. Just several
wall pictures fell. I'm fine.

Here in North Texas we just have to worry aboput tornadoes. If we had an
earthquake, don't know how the media would handle it. Nearest fault zone
anyone knows about in Texas is out west somewhere near the Big Bend area
as I recall.
