Peter, what you propose *could* be made to work if DX4WIN isn't reading the frequency directly from the radio (via the serial port). However, I don't see how it can be made to work if DX4WIN *is* reading the frequency from the radio. It has to pick the one most likely to be used to log a QSO. If a radio is connected, that must be the frequency that is used for the various windows.
