I know the great software contest logger I've used sometimes, but I think that the great Dx4Win capabilities of logging contest data can be improved better than a rate sheet... Simply giving a filter option and a rule you can calculate points, multipliers and the final score in batch mode, so only new code must be written and no re-writing of the barebone of the program needed.
It's only an idea... that don't want to become Dx4Win better than N1MM for contest, but it can help more than the little feature of the present version. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pete Smith" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "iz5fsa" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; "DX4WIN Group" <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, May 29, 2004 12:42 PM Subject: Re: [Dx4win] Contest capabilities. To reach performance equivalent to DX4WIN's in a contest environment, the program would have to be almost totally reworked. To get an idea of what is involved in a top-quality, multi-contest contest logger, why not try N1MM Logger (www.n1mm.com). It is freeware, and is becoming very sophisticated 73, Pete N4ZR The World HF Contest Station Database was updated on April 26, 2004 2706 contest stations at www.pvrc.org/WCSD/WCSDsearch.htm
