On Ten-Tec and ICOM radios, it switches the frequency on the currently assigned register. With my Omni VI+ and now with my Orion, I often move to the band/range (BSR) where the spot is going to point me and then click the spot. That way I don't screw up the other 3 registers for that band. Other times I'm in a hurry and just go back and fix it later if it steps on one of my preferred settings.

I would expect it to set the frequency of the current stacking register, not switch to the other one and change frequency. I guess I can sorta understand why the software programmer may have done that, but it sure doesn't match the way I use these registers. If I remember correctly, WriteLog doesn't seem to do it this way. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bruce Meier" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Mon, 11 Oct 2004 05:38:37 -0500 To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: [Dx4win] Packet Window Rig Control of FT1000MP > Kelly, > > Your FT1000 and DX4WIN are both working correctly and there is no config > change available.
