[Dx4win] Pre 1975 CW DXCC confirmationsPaul, Thank you for your input on this 'problem'. And I thank you, as I'm sure do many others, for your willingness to make an effort to correct this.
As a new user I'm not sure I would categorize this as a 'critical' issue but one that is a very important aspect of an otherwise terrific product. As to why this issue has been raised to some importance now I cannot answer. But perhaps it has something to do with the ever increasing install base of the product. As more and more people, here in the States and overseas, use the product more people are becoming aware of the problem. This would be especially true of those users who have been at the DX game for quite a long time as I have. I would venture to say that some of the not so old DXers aren't even aware of the CW DXCC start date and would not benefit at all if the additional support is added. It seems clear now that there are enough of us DXers that have been at it for some time to warrant making the necessary changes. In my opinion delaying these changes will, over time, continue to raise the noise level as more users come on board. Thanks for your past and continuing efforts. It is interesting to note though that DX4WIN had this problem for nine years and it suddenly rises to the top is a critical issue. -- Paul At 12:11 AM 2/24/2005, J. F.
