A google search for "32 bit windows drivers on xp pro x64" points to a
page at Microsoft that states:
Windows XP Professional x64 Edition requires that all system drivers be
rewritten as 64-bit drivers, 32-bit drivers will not work
The DX4WIN port driver apparently won't work on your OS until it's
recoded as a 64-bit driver.
I'd be thinking about installing XP x86.
