Thanks for the email Scott, The radio is turned on and in the qso window the band and mode are grey indicating it is reading the band and mode from the radio; However, when a spot from the packet cluster comes across the band and mode in the qso window will change to that spot for 5 seconds or longer and then it will revert BACK to the band and mode the radio is on. This happens on every spot from the packet cluster. Also when the band and mode in the qso window changes due to the spot from the packet cluster they still remain grey. Hope this helps.
