Howdy Guy's This is how dx4win works. When you are real time logging and from the moment you hit f9 with radio on .When a spot is coming it changed a few seconds to that spot mode and band while checking your log to see you need it or not !Nothing happens with the radio and after 2 seconds (probely longer or shorter with a slower/faster pc) the radio freq and mode is displayed. Now it is coming >From the moment you type in the callsignfield , the spots who flow in are not changing the radio freq and mode in the log window because you are in real mode logging. From the moment you log a station (ENTER) it all start over.
What I see with my orion's there is some delay.Respons is delayed probely some data is lost from te radio(polling) I never had this with my ft1000mp's ;-)) Marc ON4MA ----- Original Message ----- From: "n4dsp" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "KR4DA" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, November 12, 2006 6:30 PM Subject: Re: [Dx4win] Where is the Tech Support? > Bob, > with the radio OFF and the dx4win packet cluster running, the spots band and > mode will show up in the band and mode in the QSO Window and will stay there > until another new spot.
