I'm having the same problem. Just switched to 7.02.15, which I upgraded to from 6.03, largely because of Winkey support. It appears, however, that DX4WIN can't address the virtual serial ports created by the USB driver. I have set up COM7 for Winkey, but get no indication that they are communicating with each other. When I monitor the port, there is no indication of any data flow from DX4WIN to the Winkey.
Can anyone confirm if this is a known limitation of the current release of DX4WIN? The virtual serial ports seem to work fine for rig control (using a MK2R+, which has an embedded Winkey 2). 73, Pete N4ZR At 04:32 PM 1/22/2007, Mark wrote: >I've had some problems with using my new WINKEY2 (USB) with DX4WIN. >(works ok with the WINKEYER2) > >Would like to hear from someone who has been successful in using this.
