I wonder what I am doing wrong ... in either the manual 'set frequency' tool, or by selecting a DX spot that is set for split VFO mode, the 'split' indicator on the K3 is activated ... but does not stay in that mode. It just 'clicks' to split mode for a moment and then reverts to VFO A mode.
manually going into split mode on the radio works fine. I have tried this at both 4800 and 38400 bps speeds, to see if that made any difference. None. Ideas?
