This might might get it going for you. Download and install DX4WIN 7.07.
Use the "Elecraft K3 X4" rig file that downloads with version 7.07. If you are using LP_Bridge, I have found that something gets out of whack with it at times. When LP_Bridge gets off track, modes on VFO B and split can be wrong after double clicking a DX spot. Restarting LP_Bridge seems to correct the problem.
