For what it's worth, CI-V commander works just fine with my USB CI-V interface.
I've played around with port sharing emulators, etc. but it works fine
with working software. Unfortunately, DX4WIN doesn't work.
Again, if anyone has their 756 Pro III working, I'd like to know what
you're using for settings. Playing with poll rate and retry count has
made things worse (as in almost NEVER getting the rig settings right).
Paul, if you want to borrow a rig to test with, I won't mind. It's not
a long drive from here. :-)
