Hi Mel,

I run XP Pro. When I leave the programme it says "I have updated the logbook"
and "do I want to save it". I always say 'yes' and up to now have not had a
problem. I also back up the log to a memory stick, usually once a week.

Over the past three days I have opened the programme several times and each
time my last entry was in the logbook. This morning when the log opened I had
the problem.

Cheers,

Carl

A couple of questions before venturing an opinion...
Which OS... and which File System if you know.

When you say you will save your file... are you running it for days on end
without doing a File Save or Cntl-S. The reason I ask this is if you have a
scheduled backup running it will back up the file as it stood last time you did
a File Save. If is important that anyone doing a scheduled backup save the file
to disk periodically.
