I just ran into a glitch with DX4Win (8.04). It had been operating without any problems, when suddenly, yesterday, when I logged on I got all kinds of error messages (which I should have written down, but didn't), and then instead of the regular screen, I got the old "demo" screen. After some effort I managed to get out of the "demo" mode and restore the proper DX4Win screens and parameters, my logbook, etc., but a weird problem remains: all of the packet spots are in light grey, as if they are all being filtered out, even though I selected the bands and modes I wanted in Preferences, Packet3. Can someone suggest how to cure the problem?
