The file was open in Word but I believe it failed to import prior to opening it 
there.  I closed it in Word and moved it to the Desktop and it imported fine.  
One or the other?  Both?  Not sure but it worked.

Is the ADIF file open in another program (like Word) when you import the
file? Some of these programs keep the file open with exclusive access.
