I have recently purchased DX4WIN 8.05 and a new computer with Windows 8. I have a Pro 756III and connect it to the computer using a CT17. My problem is that I cannot get the radio and computer to recognize each. Whenever I open DX4WIN i get the following message: i.e. Badid - specified comport doesn't exist. I have tried changing the bauld rate and the comports without success. I have contacted the technical arm of the computer seller to confirm that the comports were activated and I was assured that they were as factory default. Any ideas? Thanks, Murray
