Hello DX4WIN Users.
I have been using the latest version DX4WIN, now version 9.0.9.1259 for
the past two years, running on Window 10, without any issues.
Yesterday, on start-up I got a "Fatel Error Message" saying Country.dat
file was missing and error message said I had to close the program. It
would not run
I found a Country.dat file, which was not too old, in my latest Back Up
folder and copied it into the saved folder and all was well again.
I checked for the latest Updates and downloaded the latest Country.dat
file, to be sure I had the latest version of Country.dat.
My question, is how did my original Country.dat file go missing?
I have not been accessing or doing any work on my DX4WIN files.
It was not re-named or moved to the Recycle Bin or elsewhere, that I can
see.
I have not had any big Windows Updates lately, except for a Skype Update.
So any clues or suggestions would be of interest and would be appreciated.
Thank you, from Ron. vk3io.
