Hello everyone..... (I see this post / reply is going to the list and a few individuals...)
Yeah.....me too. After reading the post I tried again and again but each time DXBase immediately refused to connect. I use the word immediately because typically there is a several second wait if for some reason a connection cannot be established. But in this test scenario the refusal to connect was immediate. I sure - am not - slinging mud on DXbase....I recommend it all the time, I support it on my web site and even have a dedicated download link for the demo too off my site's web server, as well as a downloadable DXBase 2002 screen shot of my own personal DXBase configuration. I love the program... Also I have tried - all - the other major loggers...DXBase is the best - hands down.... I just find it interesting that this one cluster will not connect....I do not know what the cause is..only the symptoms. Maybe that cluster is non-standard in some way....I am guessing now as I really don't know. Any other cluster I have ever tried that was up and operational DXbase always connected to no problem...both VHF cluster - and - internet telnet clusters....and even both types simultaneously !!
