Is this com4 that you are trying to use, something other than a standard windows com port. I know I have a USB to SERIAL adapter that I use here and the com ports on it are com 3 thru com 6 and they will not work with the CW keying of DXBase. If I use com 1 or 2 that are located on the mother board then it works fine. Have you tried using the same setup but switching it to com 1 or 2?
