Good point, Jack.  I was referring only to .ini files in the DXBase
directory, particularly radios.ini (and rotors.ini for those with
directional antennas).

It's not wise to try and backup the dxbase INI file located in your
Windows
folder.  This file contains a lot of info that is based on the original
installation.  If you try to reinstall and happen to pick a different
folder
or something like that, and then try to copy in an old INI file, the
software will probably crash.  INI files within the DXbase folder are
probably ok.
