Good point, Jack. I was referring only to .ini files in the DXBase directory, particularly radios.ini (and rotors.ini for those with directional antennas).

This file contains a lot of info that is based on the original installation. If you try to reinstall and happen to pick a different folder or something like that, and then try to copy in an old INI file, the software will probably crash. INI files within the DXbase folder are probably ok.
