The /P could be very important if the DX station keeps separate logs for each call he uses. It would not be good to have a card returned "not in log" because of a missing /P. It is a never ending task for DXBase to keep up with all the changes in call signs over the world, but portable operations have been with us for a long time and handling them should be addressed by the developers of DXBase.

While it might be required by the country in question (or not, as the case might be), it is not necessary to include it in your log. Leave off the /P and all will be well. 73, Jim N6VH > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Gintaras Sakenas LY2KW" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Friday, May 30, 2003 7:21 AM > Subject: [DXBase] WPX Prefix handling logic > > > >>Is it just me?
