George, When I do a DXCC Award output -- I can see that the meaning of BOTH is "not" the CFM colmn's Both -- but indicates that you are asking to use both the Card and also the LoTW .. NOT the Both from the Confirmed column of our logbook..
When I do a card only MIXED - I get a count of 274 -- when I do a Both -- I get 275 -- the extra ONE QSO is the YV0D (which right now is only confirmed via LoTW) ..
