Im using dxbase on a network thru a router to a cable modem and the
machine it runs on is the second computer on my network. Im having
trouble as in when I shut down the main computer after a bit of time I
loose the internet connection for dx spots. I can still access the
internet for browsing and such but the dx cluster drops. Im using win
xp although it did the same thing with win 98. Anyone got any ideas why
the connection to the dx cluster drops when I shut the main machine off?
Ive been trying to figure this out for about 4 months now and I usually
go back to the rf connection and all is well. I rather use the internet
connection as its 24/7 just like the rf connect but im paying for it so
why not use it. My router it a Linksys 4 port if that helps.

Subject: [Dxbase] DXB-2005 and Alerts (No Sound)
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

I recently upgraded to DXB-2005 and I can't seem to get the Audible Alerts
to work.

When I go to /Options/UserOptions/Internet and click on the Needed Sound
Icon I get
NO audio. I went back to DXB-2004 and it works fine. I have 2 sound cards
in my PC,
is there a sound card setting in DXB2005 or something else?

I also tested the sound from Windows Control Panel and that works fine so I
know this
is something unique to DXB-2005.

I'm using Win2k.
