Can some one please tell me, using DXBase2006, where do I find the report that
looks for duplicate entries in the log?

Jim,

A dupe ( as defined as same time, band, mode, and date ) is not possible
because the database will not allow it. Any attempt to log such a thing
would result in a database error message and the dupe would be rejected.

Jack

Right Jack! What I was talking about was dupes that did not have the same
time. I thought that I had downloaded one of Joe's reports and used it with
DXBase 2005. I look at all of the reports in DXBase 2006 and did not find it.
It is very possible that I over look it.

Did you try to COMPUTE with out checking any boxes checked in the QSO record
Filter section?

DXCC Award Type, Boxes checked = Mixed, Phone,CW,160,80,40,10,30,20,17,15,10

Select Records From = QSO Log
Band Selecton = 0
Select Only The Type QSO = no boxes checked
Band Selection = 0

QSO Log for WX#XXX The Award box for DXCC is checked for a certain country and
call but the program will find a different call sign the NO after it in the
Credited colum for QSO's after 1975. This is what is happening to me.

Subject: [Dxbase] CD update

I have 2 questions, so far, about the CD update utility:

1. When you run the utility, does it pick up 4 digit grids or 6?

2. If a field is already populated, will it update it with the current
info, or leave it as it is?

I have quite a few rovers logged, a few US islands and other portable
ops where folks used
their homecalls and the info entered would not match.

Thanks
Phil
