I am using 2005 and it can be dragged any where. It will not stay where
you put it after closing.

OK Guys,
Let's confuse the issue some more. I am using DXBase 2005 under
Windows 2000. My 19-inch monitor is set to 1024x768 resolution.
If I pull down from the "View" menu and select "Previous QSOs...", a
window titled "Previous QSOs" pops up.
I can grab the blue title bar and drag the window anywhere I
want. When I release the mouse button, the window stays in its new position.
If I start to type into the "Value to Find" field (e.g. "CY") and
then try to move the window, it still moves to where ever I want and stays
there when I release the mouse button.
If I type in a complete call and press "Find", the found QSO's appear
and I can still move the window anywhere (and it stays put.)
Seems like it is working OK here. Hope this helps but it may just
further confuse the issue.

Ken,
What you describe is symptomatic of a couple possibilities. One, you have a
virus that clobbered your host file. Many viruses attack the host file and
attempt to destroy its contents thus preventing you from accessing certain
internet sites. There are some of these floating around right now.
Or, two, you have installed something that has erased your host file and
replaced it with its own.
You can check out the help file in the section called Internet Interface for
more info about the host file.
Regards,
Jack
