Eric, YOU are going into the DESIGNER Module itself --- "if" you are strictly wanting to PRINT your qsl cards (using the Duck QSL card) -- then DO NOT do that from within the Labels Deisgner Module !!!
YOU will always PRINT your QSO data by going to the Main Menu / Output / User Designed Labels ..... This is the ONLY way that DXbase can actually pick-up the QSO data from the labels pending database!! IF YOU are wanting to "modify" the structure of the current DUCK QSL file -- then YES - you change that from within the Label Designer Module -- BUT, be aware that what you see as the DEFAULTS for the various "Variables" in the Label Designer Module -- are nothing more than "Defaults" that Jack put in to let you know what kind of data each variable is ... BUT, AGAIN --- YOU NEVER EVER print your qsl card data from within the label designer module -- NOT EVER!!!!!!!! 73 Joe Eric - VE3GSI wrote: > Joe and Others, > > First, I had already put in my personal information. > > If I go to TOOL / Design Labels - select QSL cards > I pick DuckyQSL.crd as the card to look at - the editor brings up the card > with WB4GCP. > > This is the same call that is printed File / Print Sample > > Just not sure what I have done wrong. > > Ideas anyone? > TNX Eric. > > -----Original Message----- > From: Joseph Glockner > Sent: September 9, 2005 3:45 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Cc: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [Dxbase] Duck QSL Card > > > Eric, > > You must go into the Tools / Options / User Options / > > and fill-in all of the information "as it relates to YOU" ... > > Then, go into the Labels Pending database and delete all of your entries - > then call-up each of the QSOs that were in the Labels Pending database, and > SAVE them again ... > > 73 Joe wa6axe > > > Eric - VE3GSI wrote: > > >>Hi Gang, >> >>If I choose the Duck QSL Card and print a sample, it prints with all >>the wrong information, that is - WB4GCP - Jack, etc.. Serial Port Interface settings are: DTR High is checked and RTS High & CTS are unchecked COM1/4800/8/NONE/2 These settings have worked flawlessly for me for 3 years. Hope this helps. 73, Jim, K8FT -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Bob Main Sent: Friday, September 09, 2005 6:20 PM To: DXBase Subject: [Dxbase] Radio Control I have a Yaesu Mark V and a Kenwood TS-870. I was wondering on the Radio-1 and Radio-2 tabs do you have DTR High, RTS High or CTS picked for either of these rigs? I vaguely remember messing with these items a few years ago and noting a difference, or at least I think I saw a difference. So wondering what you have. I just reinstalled DXBase 2006 hoping to fix my communication problems between DXBase and the radios. For some reason a number of my personal options were missing and I had to fill in a number of blanks, unfortunately and hope I have them all. Thanks and 73 Bob KB4CL ______________________________________________________________ Dxbase mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
