Fred, When you get to the main Import screen look at the right hand side of the screen in the area titled "Optional Default Values". There are three empty boxes and a check box in this area. The first box "QSO Note Field" will populate the DXB Notes field with whatever you put into that box. The second and third boxes are "Populate Special Field 1" and "Populate Special Field 2". Enter whatever you want into either of theses fields, up to 10 characters, and it will be imported into the Spec1 or Spec2 fields of DXB. Check the "Populate QSO date in QSL sent Field" if you want that action to happen. I never use it, but it's there
It's really quite simple, just look at the screen and fill in the boxes! Make sure to check the "Do Not load any records" button for the first trial run. If you have any errors or warnings on your ADIF data it will be displayed in the bottom large box. That way you can make corrections to the ADIF file if needed before actually doing the import. If all is OK, click the "Load All Records" button and let 'er rip!
