Fred, OK, now I get the drift. I've discovered some further documentation in the DXB Import utility Help section. I did a search on "ADIF" and discovered a short topic titled "What is ADIF". It mentions a file called "ADIF.DOC", that was placed in the DXB main program directory upon installation. Sure enough, it's there, dated 07/01/1998. However, the content appears to be the same as contained in the web page link I sent you earlier. There is no mention of the Spec1 field, but since this an editable document, and you now know how to define that field, I should think you could edit the file to add this bit of info for your future reference.
I understand now what you are trying to do by entering a club member number in the Special-1 field on import from your ADIF file, but don't know of any method to have that number replicated in the Special-1 field, or any other field for that matter, when you next enter the call in DXB. Perhaps that is an enchancement that could be added to the DXB2007 wish list?
