Hi Larry
    Computer control is on Com-1, CW is on LPT-1 and RigBlaster is on Com-7
(two serial port card from Byterunner). All other settings are as you
mention. I may try putting the computer control on Com-6 (the other serial
port via Byterunner) but I don't think it will make any difference. Don't
have any thing to loose, hi hi.
    The main computer is linked to an IC-756pro and all programs work OK on
it.
    Both computers are the same, Dell 2.4 XP.
    If all options fail, I am going to delete DXBase2005 and do a new
install. Just don't understand why N1MM and DXLab programs work and DXBase
doesn't.
    Going to take a ride up into the mountains and clear my head. Tks for
the information.

JV,

I am using DXBASE "2006" with my 706mkIIG.( The setings should be the
Same in DXBase 2005)

Does your computer have a "legacy" serial port or are you using a
USB/SERIAL adaptor?

Make sure you have the folowing checked or selected:

"Manufacturer" = ICOM.
"MODEL" = IC-706MKIIG.
"CTS" checked and "Connect HF Radio 1 Serial Interface" checked.

Make sure you have the correct "Comport" selected.

I am using the following parameters:
BAUDRATE = 1200
PARITY = NONE
WORD LENGHT =8
STOP BITS = 1

I have the IC-706MKIIG internal parameters selected for 1200 baud.

I am using 2 USB/SERIAL adaptors on my Dell laptop along with WINKEY.

I hope this helps.

I have tried much faster speeds and it does not seem to make any difference,

Am I missing something?

Thanks for any info.

    I have tried speeds up to 19200 and they do not work. The manual says
use 1200.

It might be to late now and it might can be done already, but I would like
to see the Internet Cluster window to open automatically when I start
DXBase.
