It's possible that the cluster you are connected to is not sendning you keep-alives. Try mine N5IN cluster address dxspots.com. I send keep alives every 9 minutes when there is no other activity. Also DXBase2006 can send keep alives, a typical value would be every 5 minutes, but you can go down as low as one per minute, although that is rather extreem.
