I do it both ways.
(no jokes please):-)

For the stations I manage, I print the whole card.
For me...I print into the 'label' space on a preprinted card.

Labels are expensive, add weight when sending via bureau.
They also don't stack nice and tight when pasted onto cards.


The full qsl cards go into my Epson top feed the narrow way.
I get good feed that way as they don't swerve going over the traction 
rollers.



But when I designed them, the cheapo printer only had one roller in that 
portion so they slid.
By making them go in wide side down, I got two rollers and better 
registration.



I can send my version of both formats to anyone who wants them, you would 
just have to adjust the code.
Both are in the three qso per card format.
