Well, this is a big deal and the way I have gotten around it was to print out the "both" list (lotw confirmations and card confirmations) then 'note' the cards that have to be field checked. Once that is done I would have to go back into DXbase and edit each record of the hybrid report I wanted to submit and put something like "Dayton2007" in the special field. Once that was done I could use the wizard to generate the proper formatted list for the DXCC field check submission for cards only. The only place you have to worry about LOTW in this case is the application form where you indicate that you are combining LOTW confirmations and cards on the application that you are submitting. I am especially aware of this problem as I am a field checker myself and have experienced the same scenario as you indicated from folks who use both LOTW and DXbase.
So, in my situation, I want to be able to use the wizard to show me as it does now both the lotw and card confirmations (Hybrid) . Additionally, I would want to be able to select qso form output for cards only excluding the lotw confirmations or lotw and not cards (although I can see no real use for that functionality).
