Actually, they are not saved in the windows registry. They are saved in the file DXB2007.ini in the Windows directory. At least it is for DXB2007. Make a back up of that file and you will return to your previous window settings.
If your version does not save to this file I can give you a step by step on how to make a .reg file for the registry.
