Well, just for fun - I wanted to see if I could
work FSK using MMTTY or AXETTY ..
YES!!
Before this I always used my KamPLUS TNC to
xmit/rcve pure FSK xmsns ... now, I can use
the AXETTY program -- setup as per various
methods to be able to run FSK vice having to
run AFSK..
There are a few methods for setting-up FSK
to run on AXETTY/MMTTY
(1) I used the setup for using my computer's
PARALLEL PORT - since I use my Serial Port
(on-board) for Radio Interface..
(a) I setup the circuit as described at:

under the heading of " FSK RTTY Attempt 2 " ...
You will see that there is a bit more
involved with this Parallel Port usage.
BUT, it works nicely!!!!!!
(2) You can also setup using the Serial Port as
shown on webpage:

(3) You can also setup using an USB serial adapter.
Steve, W4DTA has a USB comport box, from Rocketport (4 com
ports), but as far as the computer set up goes it is like using a serial
connection.
In my previous email, I mentioned that I do not
use AXETTY or MMTYY with pure FSK keying ... Now, I
can say that yes- I DO RUN FSK with AXETTY/MMTTY.
