Thanks for the info Joe... Ill be working on getting my stuff up and running here soon.. I gotta hit the store for some connectors.. I was playing yesterday and ive never been able to get the cw from the kybd working in dxbase with the dxb internal keyer although it worked on my other machine with xp. Im running vista on this one. I blamed the edge port usb to comport unit but i downloaded cwtype yesterday and low and behold every thing works fine there?... Vista and dxbase doesnt like com 8 on the edgeport although im using com 7 for rig control and no problems there?... Something to play with later.... Looks like its gonna be a long winter anyway as were expecting more snow all week :)... Dave
