I have now installed DXBase twice on Win 7 (32 Bit). On first attempt, I
discovered a few problems that I was able to resolve and the second time I
installed DXBase 2007, it went smoothly.

The first problem is the hosts files do not copy into the Win system. All I
did to resolve this issue was to copy the host folder from DXBase and paste
it into Windows. To find out where to paste it, just click on "FILE" at the
top left corner of the DXBase window and then click on Modify Hosts file.
The window that opens will give you the location of the host files, use
Windows explorer to "navigate" there and paste it in.

The other issue I had was the mdb files transfer. TO solve this, I went to
the DXBase folder and renamed the initial installation files (k8ztt.mdb and
ref.mdb to xxx.old). I then copied my k8ztt.mdb and ref.mdb from my flash
drive (my back up for the files) and pasted them into the DXBase folder.

The above is all I had to do different (other the usual steps needed to
update the prefix data base, reports folders, etc.).
