Not that I ever went away, I didn't.  But I've certainly been doing allot of
research in areas related to evolving the back to front functionality of
this API.  While DynAPI can dance very well in the waters of client-side
interfacing, in the end those waters are pretty shallow.  I'm rock solid on
the need to create bridge API's for the "clientside" in general.  The world
of the "object web" is pretty much limited to intranets and extranets right
now.

Based on this I've been reading disgusting amounts on Java, Corba, XML,
TCP/IP protocals, sockets and the state of distributed computing in general.
