Laszlo, I think I understand where the confusion is. You interpreted Dan's statement that he was "re-assuming ownership" of the widgets to mean that he is taking away the widgets from us? Not so. The widgets that currently reside in 2.5.6 will remain.
I think what Dan is stating is that the widget pack he's creating for 2.6 will not be distributed without a cost (which is different than "open sourced"). I'm sure there will be no problem for the rest of us to write our own widgets to replace them, or modify the existing widgets for inclusion in the 2.6 (or equivalent) distro from SourceForge. Again, I think Dan is talking about charging for the widgets he himself writes, not all widgets in general. If anyone has a problem with that, they can write their own (which will probably happen anyway, because everyone thinks they can write it better, right?) or modify the existing ones. scottandrew -- scott andrew lepera [EMAIL PROTECTED] web stuff: www.scottandrew.com music stuff: www.walkingbirds.com _______________________________________________ Dynapi-Dev mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/
