I have done some tests in the past with NS4 on Linux.

onclick just doesn't work on anything but a link (it's
nothing related to DynAPI)

I've used onmousedown instead of onclick when I
don't want to use a link to wrap a layer etc.

Not tried it with DynAPI ported projects yet.
