I have done what you suggested for fonts and it does not work. It works
fine if the text is in the parent layer but if it is in any child layers
then the font seems to default to the whatever the Body is set to. This is
only in NS. IE performs as expected.
Also could you reword what you were saying about NS crashing? I didn't
quite understand. I am using inline layers and I can cause a crash about 1
in 3 reloads consistently on multiple different machines.

For fonts you should be able to define regular CSS tags.

For crashing, don't worry about it too much. I noticed Netscape was
crashing a lot also, but after switching to inline crashes it's pretty
darned stable, hasn't crashed on me thus far (in Netscape 4.76/Linux) even
after literally dozens of reloads.
