On 18 May, Tam X Cao shouted:
-> First, thank you to Raster and Mandrake for making E14 Demo available,
-> and for all your hard work with Enlightenment...This is way to cool !!!
->
->  I was able to compiled and installed enl.DR14, Imlib.1.4 and Fnlib.DR0.2
->
-> with no problem on my P200 running RH5.0 (v2.0.31); however,
-> when I startup enlightenment, all my applications (eg: rxvt, xterm,
->  netscape)
-> widow decorations (src/pix/*.png) show up fine, BUT it also show some
-> RED background in the window decorations; otherwise, everything else
->  seems to work fine.
->
-> I though this problem is related to using '/usr/bin/convert' in Imlib,
->  and
-> currently my "convert" program is from ImageMagick v3.9.1 installation,

imlib isn't built wiht "nattive" png suport. Ie what it build it
doesn't find a suable version of libpng. Get the latest libpng, wipe
the old out completely (including header files), rebuild imlib, then e.

-> so I tried to upgrade to ImageMagick v
->  4.0.4(ImageMagick-4.0.4-2.i386.rpm),
-> recompile Imlib.1.4 to use the new "convert" program located
->  /usr/X11R6/bin,
-> and also recompile E14. Now when I startup Enlightenment, I get the
->  following
-> errors and no window decorations or background images:
->
-> Metro Link, Inc Version 4.1.0/ X Window System
->  (protocol Version 11, revision 0, vendor release 6300)
->  Operating System: Linux 2.0.31 i586 [ELF]
->  Configured drivers:
->  (using VT number 7)

->
-> Any ideas on how to get Imlib1.4 to work with ImageMagick v4.0.4
-> or how to get rid of the RED background image on the window decorations
->  is greatly appreciate.
