Dude! A "couple hundred bucks" is nothing in wire fees.

I send to the weirdest places in the world (both for COCONUT and in
connection with other everyday business every week) ..... some banks
still take out *A PERCENTAGE* of money wired. Unbelievable.

My bank is super duper and I pay almost nothing (particularly when
sending to somewhere 'normal'), but if something screws up along the
way they have to pay and hence I have to pay.

I wont say where this particular wire was going for customer privacy,
but sure, wires to weird corners of the world can cost bucks! For
sure!

Again, its weird, I've never known a bank to *not accept* funds from
their correspoendent bank <: I've known them to say "steal" the
funds, but not refuse to take them <;

Moral of story .... shit can happen when sending money to unusual places.

And, I'm extremely familar w/ sending wires, and my bank is "the
place" to send wires to and from.

(Compare the kind post here from a KOKONUT KUSTOMER who got a wire *same day*)

Sending a wire to Nth America is as different from sending to
somewhere exotic, as McDonalds is different from eating grubs in
papua new guinea :O
