Actually (and unlike other "dot com" companies) the reverse order has
been the tradition around these parts, and due to the skill of techies we
are blessed to have aboard, this product gets progressively easier to
sell. I was thinking about it the other day, e-gold's a _LOT_ cooler than
it was when I first found out about it. When I first heard about e-gold, I
had already seen Henry Hazlitt's writings on money, and e-gold was so
much like what I wanted that I refused to believe it could be true. It took
a friend to introduce e-gold to me, but back then there was very little I
could buy with it.
It's been my opinion/experience that it is very easy to waste money on
advertising. Further, e-gold can sometimes be a frustrating thing to
describe because there are so many benefits that affect different users
differently. Fortunately, we have some very smart folks around here
who are willing to offer their talents for free. I seriously doubt any ad
agency could come up with anything as good as "e-gold is to money
what email is to letters," for example. (Thanks JP!)
