Good idea, but for most folks convenience means "getting green pieces
of paper in my wallet, as quickly as possible." That's what's so fun about
the http://www.rosettaproject.org:8080/live/donations guy -- he obviously
has tried to pay very-remote individuals with other systems, so he wants
to use e-gold for what it's really GOOD for, and for him e-gold really _IS_
soooo convenient! I'm lucky enough to live in a town that's blessed with
two(!) sellers of e-gold, so that makes e-gold very convenient for me if I
ever want green paper. Of course, I try to get by on the minimum paper I
can use, so that my value remains in grams. :)

I think the way to win over socialists is to have them look closely at what
banks & bank-alternatives like check-cashing places charge poor people.
Of course, then we're still dealing with trying to get them to understand
market economics, which is back to the original problem..
