I would like to alter your formula a little bit: Trust = (Credibility * Security) + Reputation You can have some trust based on reputation only, but in absence of reputation you will need both credibility and security to get any trust going. On your site I don't find any contact information whatsoever. You have set credibility to zero in the name of greater security. Now, I don't see how putting up a real address and phone nr would compromise the security, unless you plan to become the escrow service for drug dealers or other ciminal activity. In fact any person who is desperate for money, could set up similar website and wait till $1000 passes through to dissapear completely. If these people who regularly send emails promising me big amounts from government in Nigeria, get this idea , we will soon have lots of escrow services like yours. I know you were so good to put up a link to www.thegoldtraders.com and contacted me to have a link back, but I cannot recommend an escrow service with zero credibility according to your own definition...
